CREATED & HOSTED BY
JAY & KARA JONES
About the Show: On board the CannaBus, the series follows the Joneses as they embark on educational field trips, highlighting the importance of cannabis and the stigma still attached to it. Each episode, Jay & Kara spend the day with a featured guest who shares their personal story and attachment to the famed plant. Season one culminates with the Joneses taking all of the stories back to Washington in an attempt to help influence the needed policy changes, putting an end to the stigma once and for all.
About the Hosts: Jay & Kara Jones are authors, speakers, TV producers (Hoarders, Ice Road Truckers, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, etc), and childhood cancer & cannabis advocates. Their young daughter, Hunter Rose (10), was diagnosed and treated for stage four neuroblastoma from 2017-2020. They used cannabis as part of her treatment and credit it for replacing several of Hunter Rose's narcotic prescriptions. Hunter's rare cancer journey was picked up nationally by People Magazine, Inside Edition, and others which sparked interest from within the cannabis industry. The Joneses began advocating and testifying before political committees and have become facinated with all things cannabis ever since. Hunter Rose is all finished with treatment and doing amazing, and the Joneses are now sharing other cannabis stories through their new TV series.
